Is this a subscription?
No. After the seven-day free trial, the full game is a one-off £4.99 purchase. FGM Engine 2.0 and themes are optional extras. Nothing renews.
Do I have to buy a new engine every year?
No. FGM Engine V1.0 and every point release are included. FGM Engine 2.0 is planned for September 2027 as an optional in-app purchase. Keep playing on V1.0, or play on any engine version you own; your career and your edited football world stay inside the same app.
Is the editor extra?
No. The editor is yours, free, in the full game: clubs, leagues, players, attributes, years and dates. Loading editor files shared by other managers is free too, with no unlock and no fee per file. Sharing them is encouraged. Anyone who remembers option files of yesteryear will know why.
Does the game include real club and player names?
No. The starting database uses fantasy team names and fantasy player names. Club identity tools and the full-editor roadmap are built around customising your own football world.
When can I play?
December 2026 for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Vision Pro, with augmented reality play. The exact day and the minimum device requirements are still to be announced.
