The match engine

FGM Engine V1.0

A quick pass out of pressure. A runner in behind. A tired midfield leaving space. FGM Engine V1.0 puts player attributes, your instructions, space, pressure and energy into every passage of play.

One match, three ways to follow it. Switch between the broadcast, the tactical pitch and the commentary without changing what happens on the field.

New manager wants a new East Stand before a new striker.

The board has authorised £2.2m of capital. The supporters want a signing. The manager has asked for a quote on 1,200 extra seats and a roof. Pre-season friendlies begin on 8 June against West London Quarters.

Match report

Leodis held at home by Mancunian Red.

Leodis0 – 0Mancunian Red

A high press, no attempts on target and the wing-backs did all the running. Leodis were at home and it showed in the noise, not the score.

Training

Opening-week programme set.

Balanced preparation chosen over recovery. Individual assignments remain available in Squad.

Finance

Wage room £18,000 a week.

Transfer funds £2.4m. Capital is separate. The chairman reminds everyone that cash is not the transfer allowance.

Rumour

Thijs Meijer wants a word.

A promise about playing time is due for review. Rumours do not change contracts. Decisions do.

Fixtures

Competitive football from July.

June is for squad assessment, transfers, training and friendlies. Every table starts at zero.
